Position Overview

Role Summary:

Full-Time Position

The Clinical Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks within the laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will possess the following key responsibilities:

  • Conduct all authorized laboratory tests in designated areas of expertise, requiring a robust understanding of theoretical principles and technical skills.
  • Utilize independent judgment while working under minimal to moderate supervision.
  • Exhibit proficiency in executing standard procedures, analyzing results, and taking necessary actions, while managing workload efficiently to ensure timely reporting based on patient requirements.
  • Assess the validity of test results based on established criteria, seeking guidance from senior technologists or supervisors when necessary.
  • Document and address any quality control discrepancies, adhering to established protocols and compliance standards.
  • Implement best practice techniques, demonstrating adherence to laboratory compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure optimal test performance by conducting routine maintenance and monitoring supply levels for replenishment.
  • Maintain a safe working environment through diligent infection control practices, including proper hand hygiene and the use of personal protective equipment.

Qualifications:

Full-Time Position

Candidates for the Clinical Laboratory Technologist role must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Willingness to consider candidates with varying levels of experience, including recent graduates who have completed clinical rotations in a hospital setting. Experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician is also acceptable.
  • Registry as a Medical Technologist (MT) is required for employment.
  • ASCP certification or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience.

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 available.
