Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Coordinate and execute resident activities, events, and outings, ensuring a high level of participation and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Resident Experience to create a personalized experience for each resident, including assessments and orientations.
  • Manage the activity calendar, ensuring a balanced and engaging schedule that meets the needs of our residents.
  • Arrange for external entertainment and activities, staying within budgetary allotments.
  • Promote activities and events within the community, encouraging resident participation and engagement.
  • Work with the Director of Lifestyle and Leisure to plan and execute quarterly events that showcase our community's amenities and services.
  • Organize resident outings, including site-seeing trips, destination locations, and medical visits, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols, promoting a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to assist others.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Social Service, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in assisted living or a related field, with proven management experience and ability to manage staff.
  • Commercial Driving License (CDL) preferred.
