Overview
Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our respiratory therapy department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to infants and children with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities
As a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include administering respiratory care and assisted ventilation to patients in all areas of the hospital, following prescribed treatment plans. You will also apply and monitor mechanical ventilation, provide respiratory therapy in critical care, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings, and communicate effectively with the care team, patients, and their family members.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate of Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy, with graduates of BS Degree Respiratory Therapy programs preferred. Additionally, you should have at least one year of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a tertiary hospital or recent graduates of AS or BS Degree Respiratory Therapy programs are encouraged to apply. Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, licensed by the State of MA, NICU, PICU experience, and certifications such as NPS, PALS, NRP, ACLS are highly preferred.
