Job Summary:

  • Provide nursing care to patients within the Discharge Room, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.">
  • Prepare for and assist with procedures as required, adhering to established nursing procedures and policies.">
  • Administer medications and perform venipunctures, as ordered by physicians and under the direction of Registered Nurses.">
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient information, contributing to the nursing assessment and informing clinical decisions.">
  • Assist with patient education, discharge planning, and referrals, promoting patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.">
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient experiences.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Graduate of an approved LPN program.">
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of TN.">
  • BCLS certification upon hire.">
  • Experience in patient care, preferably in a hospital setting.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.">
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks with minimal breaks.">
