Home Health Speech Language Pathologist

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist for a part-time or per diem opportunity performing home health visits in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland.
About the Role:
- Make home visits to clients in designated territories.
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Develop treatment plans based on evaluations, physician's orders, and recommended goals.
- Continually assess and revise care plans, participating in multidisciplinary care planning as needed.
- Educate patients, family members, or representatives in rehabilitative care and activities promoting health, safety, and independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using state-of-the-art technology.
Requirements:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland.
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or equivalent educational requirements and work experience.
- Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
