Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotor Pilot to join our team at Med-Trans. As a Rotor Pilot, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, while ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a team of medical professionals to provide emergency medical transportation services
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Med-Trans regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including flight logs and regulatory compliance
  • Effectively communicate with dispatch, flight crews, and medical facilities to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide shift change information to successive pilots and teams, following established protocols
  • Stay up-to-date with required certifications and ongoing training to maintain the highest level of expertise
Requirements
  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
  • Helicopter Instrument Rating
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
  • 2000 Total Flight Hours (No conversion factor applied)
  • 1500 Helicopter Hours
  • 1000 Helicopter Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours
  • 1000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
  • 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
  • 200 Instrument Hours (Actual/Hood/SIM)
  • 50 Hours Actual Weather in Aircraft (IFR positions)
  • Previous Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) experience or equivalent is preferred
