Adjunct Faculty in Respiratory Therapy

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to join our Respiratory Therapy program at Rowan University. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching face-to-face courses in the Entry into Practice program at the Health Sciences Center, Rowan College of Jersey campus, in Sewell, NJ.

• Develop and teach face-to-face courses in the Entry into Practice program
• Prepare and deliver high-quality instructional materials and assessments
• Provide individualized instruction and support to students
• Assess student learning and provide feedback
• Participate in program evaluation and continuous improvement

• Master's degree in a health science or related field
• Associate degree/equivalent or higher in respiratory therapy or at least 18 graduate credit hours in respiratory care
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapy credential and current state license
• Experience in a clinical setting, particularly respiratory care

• Experience teaching in various classroom settings (clinical, lab, classroom, virtual)
• Strong familiarity with and understanding of basic computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong writing and communication skills in a higher education setting
• Previous teaching experience at the college level, and experience with developing curriculum in the field of health sciences, specifically respiratory therapy
