Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon/Surgical Endoscopist to join our team of medical professionals. As a General Surgeon at Community Care Physicians, you will be responsible for performing surgical procedures, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and endoscopic surgeries
  • Diagnose and treat medical conditions, including cancer and other diseases
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including pre- and post-operative care
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in the field of general surgery
Requirements
  • Completion of Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree
  • Completion of an accredited internship and residency program
  • Active license to practice medicine in NYS
  • Board certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Member Board or an approved American Osteopathic Association (AOA) specialty board
