Job Summary

Byron House is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness and sanitation of our community, including common areas and suites.
  • Implement all housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Conduct daily maid service, including making beds and emptying trash, for all suites.
  • Thoroughly clean suites on a weekly basis, following our established schedule and procedures.
  • Maintain inventory and assist in ordering cleaning supplies and approved chemicals.
  • Assure that rooms are cleaned, set up, and ready to show within 24 hours of vacancy.
  • Check-in with the Assistant Director daily to determine immediate cleaning needs.
  • Take out trash in all resident units daily and common areas twice a day.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must be current on all vaccinations, including COVID-19 and receive CDC-recommended booster doses.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
