Flight Maintenance Technician

About the Role

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals, as well as experience with avionics troubleshooting and repair. A private pilot's license and adequate tools are preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform efficient repairs and modifications in accordance with applicable aviation regulations and manufacturer's instructions
  • Ensure accurate and consistent aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting and completing required forms and logbook entries
  • Follow all policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
  • 2 or more years of piston-powered aircraft maintenance experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals
  • Possess adequate tools and a private pilot's license (preferred)
  • Avionics troubleshooting experience with Garmin integrated avionics

The physical demands of this role include:
