About the RoleThe successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals, as well as experience with avionics troubleshooting and repair. A private pilot's license and adequate tools are preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities- Perform efficient repairs and modifications in accordance with applicable aviation regulations and manufacturer's instructions
- Ensure accurate and consistent aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting and completing required forms and logbook entries
- Follow all policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- 2 or more years of piston-powered aircraft maintenance experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals
- Possess adequate tools and a private pilot's license (preferred)
- Avionics troubleshooting experience with Garmin integrated avionics
