Dental Assistant Non-Certified Role

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dental Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Assist dentists with various treatment procedures, including preparing patients for dental treatment and sterilizing instruments.
- Take radiographs and mount them to patient charts using digital radiography procedures and equipment.
- Provide patients and parents with oral hygiene instruction and demonstration.
- Anticipate and ensure timely access of instruments needed by dentists during procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant certification program.
- No experience required, but five years of chair-side dental assistant experience may substitute for graduation from a Dental Assistant certification program.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
