About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in an assisted living setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a charge nurse.
  • Assist with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support.
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs as needed.
  • Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse and within their scope of practice.
  • Document outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits.
