About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at The Timbers of Cass County. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Clean resident rooms and other interior and exterior facility areas under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Assist in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
  • Restock supplies and linens as needed.
  • Assist with laundry and linen services.
  • Participate in infection control and prevention initiatives.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a housekeeper in a long-term care facility or other large institution preferred.
  • Ability to relate positively and favorably to residents and families.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other employees.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality required.
  • Ability to read English and follow oral and written directions.
  • Ability to meet all federal, state, and local health regulations.
