Crossroads Staffing invites applications for the position of General Counsel - In-House. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership in our legal department, driving excellence in governance, compliance, and risk management.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of company-wide policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and other documents related to business transactions.
- Conduct investigations into employment-related disputes and represent the company in litigation or administrative proceedings.
- Maintain relationships with external counsel, vendors, and other partners to secure optimal outcomes for our organization.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the company, recommending proactive measures to address these concerns.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree from a recognized institution and California state attorney's license.
- At least 10 years of experience in a corporate legal environment, with a focus on employment law.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and risk management.
