About the Position:

F&R is currently in search of a Geotechnical Engineer specializing in Transportation. This role involves delivering expert engineering services for a diverse range of transportation projects, including but not limited to bridges, roadways, pavements, and retaining structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field reconnaissance
  • Oversee field exploration initiatives
  • Classify soil types
  • Manage laboratory testing protocols
  • Perform geotechnical engineering analysis and modeling
  • Formulate engineering recommendations
  • Draft engineering proposals and reports
  • Assist with departmental activities
Qualifications:
  • 4-8 years of experience in geotechnical design
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer license or eligibility to obtain within 6 months
  • Strong communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent project and task management abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Physical capability to meet job requirements
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
