Join Our Team as a Montessori Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Assistant Teacher to join our team at Evergreen Academy. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in guiding our students in meaningful work while providing a prepared environment that facilitates student-led learning and freedom with responsibility.

About the Role
  • Provide support to our Montessori teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
  • Assist in planning and implementing engaging lessons and activities that promote child development and learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program
  • Support the development of our students' social, emotional, and cognitive skills
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy learning environment

Requirements
  • Must successfully clear a criminal background check
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a minimum of a high school diploma
  • Early Childhood Education Certificate or equivalent college degree preferred
  • Previous Montessori teaching experience preferred
  • Complies with all state education and licensing standards and maintains validation of credentials for the position
