At American Family Care, we are seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team on a PRN basis.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist providers in the diagnosis of injuries and diseases.

You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient diagnoses, while maintaining a commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet each patient, verify their identity, explain procedures, and address questions and concerns in a kind and caring manner.
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, utilizing your knowledge of radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure.
  • Process images, review them for proper identification and quality control, and ensure compliance with approved radiology techniques.
  • Maintain equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs as needed, arranging for repairs when necessary.
  • Contribute to a safe and pleasant work environment by observing safety and security procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
  • ARRT registration preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $55,000-$65,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer flexible scheduling, incentive plans, and growth opportunities.
