Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Mercy Hospital Southeast. As a Weekend RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse, Emergency Room, Weekend Shift position is responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to Mercy's standards and guidelines
- Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
