Job Opportunity

We are seeking a creative and experienced line cook to join our maturing team. As a vital member of our team, the line cook will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of culinary service. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced changing restaurant, where creativity and teamwork are highly encouraged.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report, and follow executive chef or sous chef's instructions
  • Clean up station and properly contain leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with allergy control, sanitation regulations, and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements
  • Ideal candidate will have two years of proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiarity with industry's best practices
  • Culinary school diploma not required but an advantage
