Job Summary

As a Certified Nurse Anesthetist with the United States Air Force, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our military personnel and their families. Your expertise in anesthesia will be essential in managing pain and providing care for surgical patients before, during, and after procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage pain and provide care for surgical patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement anesthesia plans to meet individual patient needs
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine patient suitability for anesthesia
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest anesthesia techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Master's degree from a nurse anesthesia program
  • National certifying examination passed within one year of completing required didactic and clinical requirements
  • Minimum six months full-time nursing practice in the APRN specialty
  • At least 12 months experience as a registered nurse
  • Completion of Officer Training School course
  • Age between 18 and 47
