Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a new and challenging setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilators, and aerosol medications.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and other diagnostic tests to assess patient respiratory function.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
  • One to three years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a travel or critical care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies, with a maximum weight of 50-100 pounds.
