Position Overview:
RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled C-arm Imaging Specialist to contribute to our healthcare services.

Under the supervision of the Chief Technologist, this role ensures that imaging services are delivered to patients and referring specialists in accordance with professional standards.

The specialist will foster positive working relationships with radiologists and other healthcare providers referring to the organization.
This is a temporary/casual role with flexible day shifts available.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Patient Imaging (85%):
    Conduct routine and advanced Diagnostic and Therapeutic Injection (DTI) procedures on specified body areas to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patient conditions with minimal supervision.
    Screen patients prior to examinations for any precautions or contraindications related to the procedures.
    Explain and prepare patients for DTI procedures, ensuring they understand the process, positioning them correctly for optimal imaging, and providing support throughout the procedure.
    Adjust imaging equipment as necessary to ensure quality results.
    Maintain a positive demeanor and collaborative relationships with radiologists, referring practitioners, and colleagues.
    Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, patients, and their families as needed.
    Adhere strictly to physicians' orders and safety regulations to safeguard patients and staff.
    Accurately document patient information within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
    Keep the work area organized and clean to promote safety for patients and coworkers.
    Ensure imaging equipment is well-maintained and properly disinfected after each use.
  2. Imaging Support (10%):
    Assist in the upkeep of an updated radiographic protocol manual and facilitate software upgrades.
    Monitor and manage medical supply inventory.
    Support the training of new staff by providing resources and technical knowledge.
  3. Additional Duties (5%):
    Perform other related tasks as assigned.
