Key Responsibilities- Maintain and improve pharmacy systems and processes to promote safe and cost-effective drug therapy
- Develop and implement strategies to increase quality, decrease costs, and improve service
- Assist in budget planning and management for all areas of responsibility
- Ensure effective utilization of resources, human capital, and material resources
- Recruit, retain, and develop staff to meet the needs of the department
- Provide oversight and guidance to staff, including precepting pharmacy practice residents
- Participate in hospital committees and enhance pharmacy services through staff support and development
- 2 years of experience as a hospital pharmacy supervisor
- Master of Science, PharmD, or American Society of Health-System Pharmacists residency preferred
- Georgia licensed pharmacist or eligible
- Excellent communication, analytical, conflict resolution, financial analytics, and management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation software
