The IT Systems Support Specialist will provide essential support to the Army Corrections Command (ACC) Army Corrections Brigade (ACB) G6.

This role involves delivering comprehensive computer hardware and software assistance to end users, ensuring the uninterrupted functionality of our government IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage support requests for users within the Training Management Directorate (TMD).

Report directly to Senior Leadership on the status of ongoing projects and tasks.


Lead and coordinate multiple projects, including planning, design, organization, and execution while providing expert guidance and technical support.

Collaborate with the local Network Enterprise Center for support coordination.

Address user inquiries and provide technical assistance on PC systems, related hardware and software, and standard applications.


Offer help desk support; identify the root cause of issues; provide temporary solutions if immediate resolution is not feasible.


Install, configure, relocate, troubleshoot, and support PC/server hardware and software; manage software upgrades; optimize operating systems for enhanced performance; set up network interfaces and Internet connections; diagnose network cable and configuration issues.


Install and maintain specialized software, including setup functions, developing file structures, report formats, and input forms, ensuring data security, performing data entry for databases, and documenting procedures.

Establish and implement organization-wide standards for the deployment of current and future information systems.

Provide on-call support outside of regular working hours for unscheduled events or planned service interruptions.
