Technical Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead our delivery execution team in the development and delivery of client projects.

This role involves managing customer engagements from onshore and leading co-located teams to deliver project schedule, scope, quality, efficiency, and resources throughout the software development life cycle.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and experience executing projects in Agile methodology using the Scrum framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management - Project planning and management, including scope, schedule, velocity, efficiency, and quality
  • Resource Coordination - Resource allocation, ensuring availability and capacity management
  • Risk and Change Management - Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Performance Measurement - Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Documentation and Quality Assurance - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Budget & Financial Management - Planning and managing project budgets to ensure financial resources are used effectively
  • Technical Proficiency - Provide technical guidance and support to the project team
  • Post-Project Evaluation - Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in technical project management or similar experience/expertise
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies
  • Experience of executing projects in Agile methodology using Scrum framework
  • Capable of providing gap analysis and needs assessments to uncover business needs
  • Proactively identifying future blockers and gaps and working closely with the team and client to minimize productivity loss
  • Experience of working with JIRA, ADO, or similar project management tools
  • Generating data-centric metrics, effective reports, and dashboards
  • Have technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in web and/or mobile development technologies
  • Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline and processes, cloud infrastructure, and source code repositories
  • Able to lead the technical team by providing guidance
  • Identifying the need of aligning the technical architect, product owner, QE lead, or right stakeholder with the team as per the requirement
  • Working with multiple internal and stakeholders and vendors and resolving dependencies and blockers
  • Strong experience in leading, facilitating, and motivating teams for small to medium IT projects
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • PMP, SAFe, CSM, or similar project management certification is a plus
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Being flexible and able to adjust plans as project requirements change
