Responsibilities & Duties
  • Deliver a full range of nursing services tailored to the needs of students.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education/Certification:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas, issued by the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • Certification from the Texas Department of Health to perform vision and hearing screenings.
  • Current CPR certification.

Experience:

  • Minimum two years of nursing experience, preferably in a community health setting.
Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in conducting health assessments and identifying potential health issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage patient care.
  • Ability to implement policies and procedures related to student health services.
