  • Offer food menus, coffee services, and prepared drinks, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of wine and local and general beer inventory, making suggestions to guests upon request.
  • Communicate daily food and drink specials, take accurate orders, and demonstrate knowledge of menu offerings, food, and drink pairings.
  • Enter orders accurately into the point-of-sale system, update the bar tab, and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Offer up-selling opportunities, verify ages of guests ordering alcoholic beverages, and responsibly serve alcohol.
  • Monitor and report intoxicated guests to management, aid in moving and installing kegs, CO2 tanks, and soda mixes, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform other duties and side-work as assigned, including sweeping and mopping as needed.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate a pleasant attitude and energy to ensure great customer service.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor, appearance, and communication skills in accordance with restaurant guidelines.
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of the wine inventory and menu offerings.
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of the local and general beer offerings.
  • Develop pairing knowledge of beers and wines.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the restaurant floor plan.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn food and beverage knowledge and participate in training as required.
  • Pass all service, menu, and alcoholic drink testing for the assigned concepts at standards assigned by management within 2 weeks of completion of training.
  • Work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accurately count money and make change.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and crewmembers regarding food and beverage orders and customer questions and concerns.
  • Maintain a safe and clean restaurant for customers.
  • Walk and stand for long durations.
  • Do moderate to heavy lifting (25 lbs. or less).
  • Knowledge and adherence to MCA policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge and adherence to all airport rules and regulations.
  • Commitment to service of customers, staff, co-workers, and management.
  • High integrity and honesty, Work Ethic, passion, and commitment.
  • Ability to work scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
