Job Summary:As a Physical Therapist at OSSM, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address specific patient needs and goals.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, modalities, and equipment to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and self-management techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Previous experience in [specific area, if applicable, e.g., orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics] is a plus.
