Creative Events Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and energetic Creative Events Coordinator to join our team at Michaels Inc. in BRICK, NJ.
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating events within the store to provide an exceptional experience for guests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role- Plan and coordinate multiple events simultaneously, including children's birthday parties and craft classes.
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative atmosphere.
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in crafting activities, perform face painting, and implement party add-ons as needed.
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members.
- Develop and implement event plans, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and event success.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company standards.
- 1+ year of experience in event coordination, customer service, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with crafting and art supplies, preferred.
- A competitive salary range of $15.13 - $17.70 per hour.
