Orthopedic Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Care Specialist to join our team at Los Angeles Christian Health Centers. As a Primary Healthcare Provider for Musculoskeletal Disorders, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, providing comprehensive medical services, and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
About the Role- Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal disorders, including injuries and illnesses affecting bones, joints, and ligaments.
- Perform evaluations, treatments, and procedures in an outpatient setting, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, addressing acute needs, chronic conditions, and preventive health maintenance.
- Furnish and transmit appropriate medications and treatments, as well as perform in-office procedures such as incision and drainage, arthrocentesis, and joint injections.
- Provide clinical supervision to Advanced Practice Providers, ensuring seamless coordination of care and adherence to established protocols.
- Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient setting, utilizing diagnostic skills and medical knowledge to identify and address musculoskeletal disorders.
- Assess medical needs, compile care plans, and address acute needs, chronic conditions, and preventive health maintenance.
- Prescribe medications, provide treatment options, and perform in-office procedures as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions, exam findings, assessments, treatments, and interventions.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Licensed to practice medicine and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a strong working knowledge of orthopedic methods and equipment.
- Flexibility and ability to work shifts, remain on call for emergency situations, and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- A good working knowledge of electronic medical records systems and software applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
The selected candidate will be based in Los Angeles, California, and will have access to modern facilities, advanced medical equipment, and a supportive team environment.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
