Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at OneWorld Community Health Centers Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient exams and treatments
- Prepare patients for procedures, obtain medical histories, and take vital signs
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to infection control protocols
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduation from a dental assisting program preferred
- Prior experience in a dental setting or related field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Coronal polishing and radiography certifications preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Dental Record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
