Position Overview: The 3rd Grade educator will guide students in acquiring essential skills across various subjects, including mathematics, reading, writing, and social studies, equipping them for future academic achievements. Science instruction is delivered by a specialized teacher. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver captivating lessons in mathematics, reading, writing, science, and social studies that comply with curriculum standards and state regulations.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters student engagement and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Employ diverse teaching strategies and instructional resources to cater to various learning styles, including digital tools and interactive activities.
  • Evaluate and track student progress through formal and informal assessments, providing timely feedback and support to ensure ongoing improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid teaching certification or eligibility to apply for one.
  • Prior experience teaching elementary students, preferably in 4th or 5th grade.
  • Strong understanding of pedagogy and curriculum development across multiple subjects.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • Ability to pass a background screening.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and classroom technology.
  • Familiarity with assessment tools and strategies across multiple subjects.
