Position Overview

JOIN OUR COMMITTED OVERNIGHT BAKERY TEAM

Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace is in search of a dedicated full-time overnight Artisan Bakery Specialist to enhance our operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Craft artisan breads and specialty baked goods in accordance with company recipes and quality standards.
  • Prepare bakery items from scratch utilizing the appropriate ingredients, techniques, and baking methods.
  • Contribute to the development of new recipes and product offerings.
  • Ensure compliance of equipment with health and safety regulations, performing necessary maintenance and cleaning tasks.
  • Follow established procedures for receiving products, marking prices, and managing inventory.
  • Oversee the inventory of baking supplies, ensuring quality control and identifying any damaged or expired items.
  • Provide feedback to the Bakery Manager, General Manager, and Director of Culinary Operations to improve product offerings, processes, and workflow.
  • Complete additional assigned tasks as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • A high school diploma or GED is essential.
  • A culinary degree and/or experience in baking or pastry is preferred, or a combination of relevant experience and education (training will be provided).
  • Familiarity with all products in the bakery department, including understanding pricing, taste, preparation, and usage differences.
  • Willingness to work overnight shifts and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
