Job Summary:

The Phlebotomist III- Float is a vital member of our team, representing our company's commitment to excellence in patient care. As a skilled phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting high-quality blood samples from patients, ensuring accurate and timely processing of specimens for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including patient service centers, doctor's offices, and long-term care facilities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and efficient processing of specimens.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior phlebotomists, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Minimum three years of experience in a patient service center or in-office phlebotomy environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
