  • Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify electrical issues and perform repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Tire and Brake Maintenance: Perform routine tire checks, change tires as needed, and make brake adjustments to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on truck and trailer equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintenance Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete maintenance records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Support: Operate forklifts, drive trucks and trailers, and perform other tasks as assigned to support the maintenance team.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhere to safety protocols, and follow good housekeeping standards.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed to support maintenance and repair operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a strong understanding of industrial safety and OSHA guidelines, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in heavy duty truck maintenance, with a strong understanding of DOT truck maintenance requirements.
  • Safety and Compliance: A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in all types of weather conditions, and to lift 50 lbs. or more consistently.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Welding and Fabrication Skills: Strong welding and fabrication skills, with the ability to perform tasks as needed to support maintenance and repair operations.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong commitment to flexibility and adaptability.
  • Class A CDL License: Class A CDL license a plus, but not required.
