Job Summary

Wilson College is seeking a highly skilled Instructional Technologist to join our team. As an Instructional Technologist, you will play a critical role in designing and developing high-quality instructional materials and learning opportunities to enhance online, blended, and onsite technology-enhanced courses and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with staff and faculty colleagues to design engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Develop and maintain instructional materials, activities, curricula, and assessment resources in accordance with current pedagogical practices.
  • Research and acquire learning resources, technologies, and materials to support learning.
  • Provide training and technical support to learners in various settings.
  • Administer educational software platforms, including learning management systems and video recording platforms.
  • Provide consultation, training, and support for learning technology tools and platforms.
  • Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to learning technologies.
  • Collect, organize, and disseminate data to identify instructional program needs and enhance effectiveness.
  • Design and deliver faculty development and engagement programs and activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or a related discipline.
  • Preferred two to three years of experience with instructional design and/or online teaching.
  • Extensive computer fluency, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
