Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions. As an Emergency Department Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences and goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the state of Georgia
- At least one year of experience in an emergency department or critical care setting
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of safety and respect
