Job Summary

ProTech Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Product Quality Assurance Specialist to support the implementation and advancement of our Quality Management System. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, maintenance, technicians, and others to drive overall corporate goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support shift inspectors through measuring and testing product to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Initiate and train inspectors on quality alerts to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Provide training to shift inspectors as needed based on NCR's and/or RMA's to address any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct layered quality audits (auditing inspectors) to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Log inspection data and file lot traceability and inspection forms for accurate record-keeping.
  • Assist with managing and maintaining the Non-Conformance / Hold Area to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Create and revise process books to reflect changes and updates.
  • Ensure inspection process books are consistent with ECN changes to prevent discrepancies.
  • Generate certificate of compliance and certificate of analysis records for shipments to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in Customer audit processes to demonstrate our commitment to quality.
  • Support PPM goals and scorecard improvements by providing data for reporting to inform decision-making.
  • Participate in Lean cell improvements and Kaizen events to optimize processes and efficiency.
  • Assist with FAIR's and PPAP's and new product introduction to ensure seamless integration.
  • Assist with WinSPC and other statistical software(s) to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related industry or discipline, preferably in machining or plastic injection molding.
  • A high school degree, GED, or equivalent years of experience; auditing, metrology equipment, and an understanding of formal problem-solving are highly beneficial.
Estimated Salary Range

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
