Dental Care Professional

Moultrie Dental Care is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support our team of dental professionals. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients, while also contributing to the success of our dental practice.
Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, as well as experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment. Key responsibilities will include greeting and welcoming patients, conducting thorough reviews of patient health history, taking and processing x-rays, and providing superior chairside assistance to supported dentists. Additionally, you will be responsible for utilizing Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping, preparing treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols, and managing supply and inventory levels.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment, and dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification if required under the state dental practice act. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of experience in a dental setting, Dentrix or other dental software experience, and dental assisting school certification.
Physical Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation, and will have the ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Regular attendance and punctuality are also essential for this role.
