AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bridge Engineer to join our New Jersey movable bridge practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing project execution, providing technical leadership, and driving business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee project execution as a project manager on movable bridge projects, guiding teams through various project phases including construction.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead the development of technical project concepts and play a key role in the pursuit phase to secure new projects.
  • Business Development: Engage with existing and prospective clients to identify new project opportunities. Participate in the formation of project teams and go/no-go decisions on potential projects.
  • Travel: Be prepared to travel as needed to meet project and client needs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Requirements: BA/BS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Current P.E. license: with ability to obtain reciprocity in other states.
  • Successful record: as project manager with the delivery of on time and on budget movable bridge projects, in all project phases including design and construction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree: with 12 years experience.
  • Project experience: on commuter rail/freight rail bridges and State DOT bridges.
  • Knowledgeable: of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable Codes.
  • Project management skills: including proposal preparation.
  • Experience: in traditional and alternative delivery.
