Position Description

Outpatient Orthopedic Registered Nurse

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive experience in patient care, particularly within the orthopedic specialty. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the specific needs of this patient demographic.

The role requires the application of acquired knowledge, theoretical frameworks, research, and practical experience to effectively respond to evolving clinical scenarios.

The RN will utilize the Synergy Model for Care in practice, tailoring care to meet the unique needs of each patient and their family.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering safe, reliable, and effective care to patients independently through the nursing process.
- Assessing patient responses to planned interventions and modifying care plans as necessary.
- Integrating the AACN Synergy Model into daily clinical practice.
- Collecting, reporting, analyzing, and providing data consistently as required by physicians and interdisciplinary teams, adhering to organizational standards.

Minimum Qualifications

- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years, or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
- Must hold a valid, active, unencumbered nursing license or a temporary permit approved by the relevant licensing board.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification may be necessary in designated departments.

Compensation Information

Hourly Rate: $42.00 - $48.30
