Job Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified Pediatric Surgical Technician to fill a vital role in our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in pediatric surgical procedures and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic operating room environment.

Location: Aurora, CO

Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts

Job Type: Travel Contract

Duration: 13 weeks

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically focused on pediatric surgery.
  • Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
  • Possession of the Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in pediatric surgical operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and sterile techniques.
  • Prepare and manage surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies effectively.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
  • Maintain the sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
  • Ensure all necessary certifications and documentation are current and accurate.
