Baylor Scott & White Health Careers is seeking a highly skilled Interventional Spine and Pain Medicine Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients with complex spine and pain conditions, developing comprehensive treatment plans to address their unique needs.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care, including physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Counsel patients and families on medical conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote optimal health and well-being.
- Stay current with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in interventional spine and pain medicine, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty, such as Pain Management or Spine Care.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care or interventional pain management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
