Job Summary:
Motion Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and documenting network systems across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network systems, including local, wireless, wide area, and Internet network connections.
- Configure and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex network performance issues.
- Coordinate with Internet Service Providers to install and configure new connections.
- Use SNMP network management software and other diagnostic tools to ensure reliable network operation.
- Manage and maintain network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
- Develop and implement network growth plans to accommodate traffic growth and load balancing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering, including hands-on knowledge of Cisco networking equipment.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA network requirements, firewalls in cloud data centers, VPN connectivity, SOA/Microservices, API Development, AWS, Agile/Scrum development teams, and key governance frameworks.
- Extensive skills with TCP/IP protocol stack, Microsoft Windows domain networks, firewall management, active directory federation services, multi-factor authentication, and VPN.
- Strong analytical aptitude and ability to learn modern/new technologies quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
