Dietary Cook

Folkston Park Care & Rehab is seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team in a Full-Time capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the setup of food service, assembling trays according to the planned menu and tray tickets, and adhering to established time schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Dietary Manager in the setup of food service, ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents.
2. Assemble trays according to the planned menu and tray tickets, taking into account resident food preferences and diet orders.
3. Work collaboratively with the Dietary Manager to ensure efficient food service operations.
4. Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in food preparation and presentation.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a geriatric or rehabilitative nursing environment is highly desirable.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and management.
