Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

At Norman Regional Health System, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of cardiology.

We have a talented team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists who work together to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist - RCIS to join our team. The successful candidate will prepare and assist in cardiovascular procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and providing excellent patient care. This role involves collaborating with cardiologists, serving as a preceptor for new staff, and ensuring compliance with certification requirements.

• Prepare equipment before and during procedures
• Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning patients for care
• Maintain a sterile environment
• Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in orientation and training
• Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks

• Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
• Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration, Registered and/or RCIS, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
