Job Summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Burbank, WA. This is a full-time contracted position within a supportive school district committed to the well-being and academic success of its students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for students to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans to support student learning and emotional health.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to promote social-emotional growth and well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student learning and emotional health, and to develop strategies to address student concerns.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and concerns, and to develop plans to support student success.
  • Offer crisis intervention and develop prevention programs to promote a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations, and to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology, and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong understanding of IDEA and other relevant federal and state regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.
