Job Summary

Nova Biomedical is seeking a skilled Tubing Assembler II to join our team in our Waltham, MA facility. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the processing of various tubing assemblies for both core and OEM analyzers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex assembly operations, including the production of prototypes and pilots for engineering as required.
  • Work independently and efficiently to meet manufacturing schedules and produce high-quality assemblies.
  • Operate process equipment such as automatic crimp cappers, laser coders, leak testers, and UV adhesive dispensing/curing systems.
  • Understand and follow assembly procedures, drawings, and related documentation to assemble various products.
  • Train junior assemblers and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Good math and communication skills.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Pushing or pulling up to 5-6 lbs.
    • Repetitive task performance: repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
    • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
    • Strong visual acuity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Tubing Assembler I qualifications.
Education and Experience
  • High School/Trade School diploma.
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing (tubing) assemblies.
