Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at Team Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a variety of conditions. Your primary goal will be to help patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and regain mobility.

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Team Rehabilitation, your responsibilities will include:
  • Evaluating new patients and developing plans of care to meet their unique needs
  • Treating patients and setting measurable, functional goals to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Educating patients on treatment options and home exercises to complement their clinical sessions
  • Supervising aides and ensuring the proper setup and cleanup of modalities for non-Medicare and non-BCBSM patients
  • Monitoring and re-evaluating patient progress, revising plans of care as needed to ensure the best possible outcome
  • Addressing pain management as a crucial component of care and utilizing techniques to reduce pain and increase function
  • Determining when to discharge patients and teaching them proper mechanics, ergonomics, and strategies to reduce future incidents
  • Writing timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes
  • Achieving a reasonable level of productivity, which may vary depending on the number of referrals and patient type
  • Participating in research studies supported by the clinic and helping to develop protocols for common diagnoses
  • Providing input on policies, procedures, and strategy to ensure high-quality care across all Team Rehabilitation clinics
  • Handling patient feedback and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Continuing to develop skills by staying updated on the latest research and techniques, attending company in-house CEUs, and utilizing the continuing education allowance to attend seminars, workshops, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy and a valid Physical Therapy License. Additionally, you must be committed to Team's initiative of making Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) a priority, bringing a sense of belonging and empowerment within a diverse workforce.
