Job Title: Standard Cost Accounting Supervisor

Central Processing Corp is seeking a highly skilled Standard Cost Accounting Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing the standard costing process, overseeing the Standard Costing Team, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead the Standard Costing Team to achieve desired results.
  • Oversee all areas of cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Compile and analyze reports related to the standard costing process.
  • Assist with the setup, tracking, and audit of inventory costs.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain financial security by following internal controls.
  • Work independently on projects for the CFO, President, and Controller with minimal supervision.
Work Environment:
  • Office working environment with occasional travel to manufacturing facilities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Associate's degree in Accounting required, Bachelor's degree in Accounting desired.
  • 4+ years' experience in related field required.
  • Prior management experience in cost accounting preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products and cloud-based accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and mathematical skills.
  • Pro-active, multi-tasked, self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
